Geofencing | Location Targeting

Geofencing is a location-based technology that uses GPS, Wi-Fi, cellular data, or RFID (radio-frequency identification) to create virtual boundaries or "fences" around specific geographical areas. We use this concept behind geofencing, to trigger actions or send targeted messages when a user enters or exits a defined location. When a mobile device or a user with a location-enabled device crosses the predetermined boundary, the geofencing system can send push notifications, display location-specific content, track user movement, or perform other predefined actions. This technology is widely used by businesses for targeted marketing campaigns, personalized customer experiences, enhancing security measures, and improving operational efficiency. Geofencing is now being used for campaigns which allows candidates to engage with their audience in a timely and relevant manner based on their physical location, making it a powerful tool for location-based marketing.
